By donating to the San Diego and Imperial Counties Labor Council, you're helping to build a stronger community where every worker has the opportunity to thrive. Your contribution directly supports our advocacy efforts, educational programs, and vital resources for union members.
Volunteer Opportunities:
If you are in good health and available to volunteer, please sign up today. If you have friends or family who would like to volunteer, please have them sign up as well.
The Labor Council is committed to the safety of our staff, volunteers and visitors. We are closely monitoring announcements from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to ensure that we are following their recommended guidelines.
We are taking proactive and voluntary steps to help reduce contact and/or spread of COVID-19 while distributing food.
The need is increasing as workers continue to miss paychecks and are laid off. Your help will make all the difference.
Giving Opportunities:
Worker Hunger Relief Program: Every dollar donated will go to help the workers and families who need it most. It will provide food assistance to help San Diegans survive this crisis.
Who It’s For: Low-wage workers who need support for a limited but undetermined length of time
What The Money Goes Toward: Utilities and rent/mortgage payments
San Diego COVID-19 Community Response Fund: A coalition of philanthropy, government and business partners has joined together to create the San Diego COVID-19 Community Response Fund to rapidly deploy flexible resources to community-based organizations at the frontlines of the coronavirus outbreak in San Diego County.
