We fight to create quality jobs so workers can afford to live where they work. We do this directly through employer contracts, increasing the minimum wage and making sure that anywhere public tax dollars, resources or public land are used - workers get paid a living wage. Doing so raises wages not just for union workers - but for all workers.

San Diego’s housing crisis is real. Working families frequently can’t afford to live in the city where they work. Rents are rising, and home prices are out of reach. We promote policies that ensure housing is built that workers can afford.
